With the development of reverse osmosis membrane technology, reverse osmosis method is more popular in sea water desalination system to remove more than 98.5% salt from the seawater and make WHO drinkable water, which is more energy-saving, have high desalination and recovery rate, easy operation, and the can use in any area.

Thus the pre-treatment is very important for sea water desalination.
