| First stage pretreatment (Sand filter):The use of multi-medium quartz sand filters, main purpose is to remove the water contains sediment, manganese, rust, colloid material, mechanical impurities, suspended solids and other particles in the above 20μm of substances hazardous to health. |

| Third stage pretreatment (Resin softener):Cationic resin used for water softening, primarily to remove hardness of water. So as to effectively prevent the reverse osmosis membrane fouling. System can automatically recoil, and so is red. |
| Fourth stage pretreatment (Micron filter):Particle size in water to remove fine particles, sand filters can remove very small colloidal particles in the water, so that the turbidity reached 1 degree.

The principle of reverse osmosis is the water and the solution separated by the permeable membrane, the water is to the solution phase infiltration, and finally to balance, between the two phases osmotic pressure. If the solution phase is greater than the osmotic pressure, the water in the solution phase will penetrate in the opposite direction to the water. Raw water in sufficient pressure, through the osmotic membrane and become pure water, there is no water through the membrane dissolved, suspended solids discharged through the sewage outlet.
There are several kinds of consumables you need to replace regularly.
a. Quartz sand: replaced about every 15 months. 50kg/bag
b. Activated carbon: replaced about every 15 months. 25kg/bag
c. Cation resin: replaced about every 2years. 25L/bag
d. PP Filter cartridge: replaced about every 1 month
